Aloha! My first experience with the Ilima was in the Summer of 1978. I was on a planned one week business mission and stayed 3 wonderful weeks. Many thanks to the Ilima staff for making the extended stay comfortable. I returned numerous times and my first choice was the Ilima. There was even name recognition when I called for a reservation. I have not been back for many years but I hope to get my daughter and son-in-law to take vacation on O'ahu and to stay at the Ilima. My favorite places on O'ahu were Pali Lookout and the 10th floor sun deck of the Ilima. I also share a very important birth date with King Kamehameha, June 11th. Regards and Aloha, Robert

We came to Hawaii After 5 times and thought we would be staying at a very nice hotel, but when we got there it was not a real nice place. The Ilima Went out of their way to find us a room. We enjoyed our stay and are plannining on returning to the same hotel for at less two mouths next year.

Caroline and myself arrived at the Ilima after being disappointed with our previous hotel. We were immediately taken in and treated with great warmth and before long felt like old friends. The Australia dollar is very low, but we still found this property great value for money. It is very central, spacious and clean with friendly staff. Great laundry with new washing machines and driers with very reasonable washing and drying prices. We loved it and can't wait to return.

I have stayed at the Ilima twice and did not know you had this message board until today when I just made my 3rd reservation. During my last stay in August I was taken to the hospital where I spent one night. The staff and in particular Kay from the front desk handled my emergency very well and helped me through an wextremely difficult time. I will always appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness of everyone at the Ilima! Thank you!!

We just returned to Canada from our two weeks on Oahu and had a great time because of you all at the 'Ilima. Everyone without exception was kind and helpful. I can see that they all enjoy working at the hotel. The management must treat them well. I hope the same staff is there when we return in the near future. I hope you continue to maintain your building and work to retain the staff you have because they were all great. My daughter especially enjoyed the staff singing group. Superb, great value Hotel. Nice location and yet only 5 minutes walk from Waikiki beach. Close to all amenities and free parking. Staff are so friendly..other hotels should send their staff to the Ilima to learn a thing or two about courtesy, and looking after people We would love to return soon, but as we live in Ireland its a long trip, but when we do...We will stay again. Well done all at the Ilima a superb Home away from Home
